Would these work good for screwing down creaking hardwood flooring from the crawlspace. The plywood is 3/4 inch and so is the oak hardwood. The floor expanded and loosened due to a crawlspace moisture issue that has been resolved.
Question by: Edward on Jun 25, 2018
We typically wouldn't recommend using a screw on interior hardwood flooring for appearance reasons. If it's in an area where visual appearance doesn't matter, a screw could probably get the job done. Please confirm with us on the total thickness of both wood surfaces you would be driving into, as you may need a longer screw. Please give us a call at 1.888.720.7892 to confirm what you're looking to do.
